It was dead. I should have just let it go... but I had to try.

The result... was not cake. It was something else.

The calculations were perfect: pieces of broken cake + frosting = real cake. It was me that was wrong. </geek>

So yes. I present the homunculus cake. =P Uh... happy birthday, sweetie. >_<

I seriously have no clue what went wrong. >_< I usually bake cookies and breads, though, this was my first cake. I greased and floured the pans and everything! But when I took the layers out, they both broke in half. And the sides crumbled when I frosted it; the side at the bottom, there, actually caved in. Oh, well... it tastes fine.

it sounds to me that you may have either not baked it long enough or that you didnt let it cool long enough before taking it out of the pan, better luck on your next one tho!

That's the best non-cake I've ever seen! Behold the pwn-age!!! :D

Seriously, I do love the humour... it's the best way to handle things when stuff just doesn't go the way you planned.
:iconcattheterrible:
Or both. ^_^; Thanks!

Well sweetie, It tasted good if that makes it any better. Thanks for making me the cake love.

LOL! Looks like you need to start buying your cakes ready-made from the bakery.
